Pine Grove Church to host Butterfly Ball

Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Youth Ministry will host a Butterfly Ball on Saturday, March 6, 2010. The social event will begin at 7:30 p.m at the Pine Grove Health & Wellness Center at 3160 Hwy. 98 West, Summit, Ms. In addition to dancing, food will be provided. The Ball is for 9th through 12th grade students only. The cost is $7 per person and tickets are limited. Students must wear Ball Attire. Students must R.S.V.P. ON OR BEFORE MARCH 3, 2010. Inaddition to Pine Grove other partners include: Rainin’ Three Leadership Academy’s Social Butterfly and the McComb Mayor’s Youth Council.

“I am excited to collaborate with McComb Mayor’s Youth Council and Rainin’ Three Leadership Academy’s Social Butterfly to host an evening of elegance, fun, food, and dance,” said Pine Grove’s Youth Ministry Director, Faye O’Neal. “Our goal is to promote positive interaction and social development of our youth at Pine Grove and in our community.”

Rainin’ Three Leadership Academy’s Social Butterfly Director, Ladina Williams said, “Pine Grove has such a wonderful ministry and I feel that together we can do great things. If we don’t guide our youth in the right direction to become strong, bold, young men and women, who will? Events such as The Butterfly Ball will give the youth an outing to enjoy and fellowship with one another. Our teens need an outlet and something to be apart of!”

Cornelia Gayden, Mayor’s Youth Council Steering Chair said, “The Mayor’s Youth Council is all about the growth of our youth. Working and supporting other organizations is our strong point. The youth council members are excited about joining in this effort for a night of fun. My hat is off to Pine Grove’s Youth Ministry.”
